The ABC Student Chapter offers opportunities to help you succeed on an academic level as well as on a personal level.
Networking Opportunities
Both locally and nationally. ABC holds monthly events/dinner-meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month where you will have the opportunity to market yourself to ABC industry members for internships or jobs. During these events you will be able to meet and speak one-on-one with ABC members who will be recruiting new talent tosupport their business needs.
Becoming A Leader
Become a leader in the communities surrounding FIT. An important aspect of being an ABC member is your outreach to the communities in which the company/student chapters reside. As an ABC student chapter we will pursue community service opportunities that will further our reach into the surrounding communities by providing our services for whatever help they might need
Start Your Career
Internships for your respective major. With the opportunity of direct contact with ABC industry members, you will have a “leg up” on the competition when applying for internships.
Scholarship opportunities.
As long as you have successfully completed at least one year of schooling in a construction-based degree program, and are a current member of the ABC student chapter, you are eligible to apply for a $2,000 ABC annual scholarship.
